In this lesson we will learn two new letters, פ, which makes the Hebrew “p” sound, and ט, the second of two Hebrew “t” sounds.

Hebrew NuggetsThe word מִשְׁפָּט (mish·PAT, “justice”) contains two new letters פ and ט. In the Hebrew Scriptures the term mish·PAT is frequently paired with צְדָקָה (tse·da·KAH). In Gen. 18:19, for example, God explains the reason why he chose Abraham:
