Miriam Feinberg Vamosh holds an undergraduate degree in education and an M.A. in Archaeology and Heritage, with distinction, from Leicester University, U.K. In addition to Teach it to Your Children: How Kids Lived in Bible Days, she has authored hundreds of articles and books about daily life, culture and faith in the time of the Bible, including Daily Life at the Time of Jesus, Food at the Time of the Bible and Women at the Time of the Bible (Palphot). She is co-author, with Eva Marie Everson, of the prize-winning Reflections of God’s Holy Land, a Personal Journey Through Israel (Random House), and is also the author of the historical novel The Scroll. A native of Trenton, New Jersey, Miriam has lived in Israel since 1970. She and her husband Arik are the parents of two daughters and have three grandchildren.
