Gary Asperschlager is a retired Salvation Army officer (pastor) who attended Princeton Theological Seminary after his calling to ministry. His childhood and undergraduate focus was on the sciences and thus he always enjoys opportunities to observe and learn about the world of nature, such as through his visit to the Hula Nature Reserve in Israel. Gary now lives in Buxton, Maine in the USA. He and his wife Pearl have a son (Erich), and two daughters (Lauren and Sharon), and four granddaughters. Their daughter, Lauren Asperschlager, and Lauren’s husband, Joshua Tilton, collaborate with David Bivin on JP’s LOY project.
