I am teaching a class on Second Temple Jewish eschatology. Can you suggest a book or other source material that I could use?
I suggest that you read the entry “Eschatology” in volume 6 of Encyclopaedia Judaica (pp. 860-86). You can find this encyclopedia in many public libraries. In addition, read the Jewish Encyclopedia‘s excellent entry on “Eschatology,” (available at JewishEncyclopedia.com). The Encyclopaedia Judaica and the Jewish Encyclopedia are usually the places to begin when searching for information on biblical or Jewish subjects.
