This beginner’s level course teaches participants to recognize Hebrew letters so they can practice reading and writing Hebrew words and phrases. Participants will also begin to build a Hebrew vocabulary and learn about the Jewish roots of the Christian faith along the way. Each unit consists of video recorded class sessions, reading assignments (the Hebrew Nuggets series by David Bivin), a quiz to test your progress, and practice materials. The sixteen lessons are presented by course instructor David Bivin.
Participants must purchase access to the course through the JP Bookstore, which also grants access to the Hebrew Nuggets series. JP Members, who already have access to the Hebrew Nuggets series can purchase access to the course at a reduced rate. Friends of JP can access the course for free, but still have to register through the JP Bookstore.

After purchase of the course, participants will receive access to the course units, where they can view the course videos, find links to the assigned reading, download practice materials, and take the quiz. Upon successful conclusion of the course, including the participant’s testimony of accomplishing all course assignments, participants will receive a certificate of completion via e-mail.
