We at Jerusalem Perspective (JP) are excited to introduce a new navigation feature intended to help users find the content they’re looking for, the brand-new JP Scripture Index. The index lists the New Testament passages discussed in JP articles and posts. Clicking on individual pericopae will bring up a listing of the pertinent JP articles. Although this new feature is already accessible to all JP users, it is still being developed, so not all passages nor all pertinent articles have been indexed. This is a big project and a time-consuming endeavor, so it will be some time before the index is as useful as we hope it will be, but we hope that even at this stage users will recognize its study potential.
To visit the JP Scripture Index, click here.
Presently, only the pericopae in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) are being indexed, as these are the primary focus of JP’s articles. In the future we hope to expand the index to include the Gospel of John and the Book of Acts, and perhaps down the road the rest of the New Testament.
If you spot any problems or have any questions about this new feature, you can leave a comment either at the bottom of this post or on the JP Scripture Index page itself.
Enjoy!
