The Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research held its Second Annual Symposium on Tuesday, November 20. The meeting for members and the reception for affiliates, budding scholars and friends of the Jerusalem School took place at the Hotel Monaco in Denver, Colorado.

The Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research held its Second Annual Symposium on Tuesday, November 20. The meeting for members and the reception for affiliates, budding scholars and friends of the Jerusalem School took place at the Hotel Monaco in Denver, Colorado.

Each year the School has its symposium on the final day of the Society of Biblical Literature’s week-long meeting, which was held this year in Denver. The School’s first symposium was held November 21-22, 2000 in Nashville, Tennessee. Next year it will be held in Toronto on November 26, 2002.

In attendance at the symposium were Jerusalem School members Brian Becker, the School’s director and the organizer of the symposium, David Bivin, Randall Buth, Weston Fields, Steven Notley and Halvor Ronning. Also attending were Ken and Lenore Mullican, Bruce Okkema, Lois Tverberg, Judith Fain, Archie Wright, Jeff Steen, and others.
