Brad H. Young is the founder and president of the Gospel Research Foundation, Tulsa, Oklahoma. A founding member of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research, he is professor of New Testament Studies in the Graduate School of Theology at Oral Roberts University. Young earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Judaism and Early Christianity at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, where he studied for ten years. His doctoral dissertation, written under the supervision of Professor David Flusser, was published by Paulist Press as Jesus and His Jewish Parables: Rediscovering the Roots of Jesus' Teaching. Young has also authored The Jewish Background to the Lord's Prayer,_The Parables: Jewish Tradition and Christian Interpretation, Jesus the Jewish Theologian and Paul the Jewish Theologian.
